Volumetric Weight Calculator
Volumetric Weight (Dimensional Weight) is used when a shipment occupies more space than its actual weight. Courier companies calculate shipping charges based on whichever is higher: Actual Weight or Volumetric Weight.
Formula
(Length × Width × Height) ÷ 5000
All dimensions should be measured in Centimeters (CM).
Example Calculation
| Length | 50 CM |
| Width | 40 CM |
| Height | 30 CM |
| Formula | (50 × 40 × 30) ÷ 5000 |
| Volumetric Weight | 12 KG |
How to Measure a Parcel

Length
Measure the longest side of the package.
W
Width
Measure the shorter horizontal side.
H
Height
Measure from the base to the top of the package.
Important Notes
- ✔ Measure all dimensions in CM.
- ✔ Round up dimensions to the next whole CM.
- ✔ Shipping charges are based on the higher of Actual Weight or Volumetric Weight.
- ✔ Oversized packages may attract additional handling charges.
